The app
No download, no 200-megabyte update, no permissions you didn’t ask for. Add this to your home screen and it opens full screen with its own icon — which is what you actually wanted from an app.
First, what it is not
Because there is no listing behind one. Plenty of sites in this category carry App Store and Google Play badges that open a search result, a “coming soon” page, or nothing at all. It takes ten seconds to find out, and once a reader has, every other claim on the site is suspect.
So we would rather use this page to tell you what we do have, which is a site built to be used on a phone first — big targets, no pinch-zooming, forms that remember where you were, and a camera button where a camera button belongs.
Add it to your home screen and, for almost everything you would do here, you will not be able to tell the difference.
Three taps
Pick your device. The last tab is the one nobody else writes: what this will not do.
Safari does this one, and only Safari — if you are in another browser on an iPhone, open this page in Safari first.
Tap the Share button
The square with an arrow coming out of the top. It sits in the bar at the bottom of the screen, or at the top on an iPad.
Scroll down the sheet and choose Add to Home Screen
It is usually labeled exactly that, a little way down past the sharing options.
Give it a name and tap Add
The name is whatever you want to see under the icon. Ours is already filled in.
That is it
The icon is on your home screen. Opening it launches the site full screen, with no address bar and no browser tabs.
Worth having on a home screen
The point of an icon on your home screen is that the thing behind it is worth opening. Here is what is behind this one.
Two sliders and the complete breakdown, both charges in dollars. No sign-up and no email.
See what it costsIncluding photographing your title with the phone already in your hand. The capture control checks the photo is readable before it sends it.
Start an applicationThe published Credit Access Business disclosure, with a worked example.
See the fee scheduleThe regulator, both companies, and a link into a government database so you can verify us without asking us.
Check our registration statusFive categories, who else sees each one, how long it stays, and every security control marked in place or planned.
Read the security pageOur process, and the state regulator's helpline, on the same page. You do not need our cooperation to use the second one.
How to complainReasonable questions
It is the website, opened without the browser around it.
No. It creates an icon and a setting. There is no download, it takes no meaningful storage, and there is nothing to update.
The same way you remove any other icon — press and hold, then remove or uninstall. Nothing of yours is deleted and your account is untouched; you are only removing a shortcut.
Not yet. Push notifications are not built, so reminders come by text and email. When that changes, it will be announced here and on the Trust Center with the date it changed.
No. There is no offline mode yet, so in a dead spot you get the same nothing you would get in a browser tab. We would rather tell you that here than have you find out in a parking garage.
It runs in the browser exactly as this page does, inside the same sandbox, with the same permissions. It cannot read your other apps, your messages or your contacts, and nothing is stored on the device beyond what a normal browser session keeps.
