Definitions
Dollar Loans LLC — the company behind this site. It trades as Dollar Loanz and is a Credit Access Business (Texas credit access business registration: not yet issued). “We”, “us” and “our” mean Dollar Loans LLC, trading as Dollar Loanz.
S2 Funding LLC, lender of record, and the only one. It is a single, named company, not a panel or a marketplace. It advances the funds and it holds your agreement.
Agreement — the vehicle title funding agreement between you and S2 Funding LLC, arranged by Dollar Loans LLC, trading as Dollar Loanz.
Eligibility
To apply, you need to be:
- At least 18 years of age
- A resident of Texas
- The legal owner of the vehicle used as collateral
- Able to demonstrate regular income
Meeting these does not mean an application will be accepted, and nothing on this site is an offer of credit. What you can be advanced depends on the equity in your vehicle and on the checks described in your application.
Credit Access Business disclosure
Dollar Loans LLC d/b/a Dollar Loanz is a Credit Access Business. Texas credit access business registration: not yet issued. It arranges the funding and charges the Credit Access Business fee. S2 Funding LLC, lender of record, advances the funds and charges the interest. Both are shown in dollars before you sign, and the annual percentage rate is printed once our way of calculating it has been checked.
Dollar Loans LLC: Arranges the funding and charges the Credit Access Business fee, worked out on the amount advanced for each month the agreement runs.
S2 Funding LLC: Advances the funds and charges interest on the amount advanced, for the whole term. That interest is S2 Funding LLC's part only, and it is not the total cost of credit.
The annual percentage rate counts our fee and S2 Funding LLC's interest as one yearly figure, worked out by the actuarial method Regulation Z sets out. Until our way of calculating it has been checked, this site prints the dollar figures and leaves the rate out. S2 Funding LLC's interest on its own is not the cost of this agreement.
The full fee schedule, with a worked example, is on the Credit Access Business disclosure page.
Agreement Terms
$2,000 to $50,000. The amount depends on the vehicle and your application.
An arranging fee for each month the agreement runs, charged by Dollar Loans LLC, plus interest for the whole term, charged by S2 Funding LLC, both worked out on the amount advanced. Each is shown in dollars before you sign.
Every cost is disclosed in writing before you sign. None of it appears afterwards.
Your right to cancel
You may cancel by midnight of the third calendar day after you sign, at no cost. You return the amount advanced and owe nothing further.
The deadline is a calendar deadline, not a countdown of hours. If you sign on a Monday afternoon, the right runs to midnight at the end of Thursday.
Paying early
There is no prepayment penalty.
Vehicle Lien
A lien is placed on your vehicle’s title as security. You keep the vehicle and keep driving it while the agreement is in place. If the payments aren’t made as the agreement says, the vehicle can be repossessed.
A repossessed vehicle can be sold. That is what securing an agreement against a vehicle means, and we would rather you read it here than find it out later. If a payment is going to be a problem, tell us before it is missed — there are options, and using them is not held against you.
Default and Collections
If scheduled payments are not made, the agreement may go into default. Contact us as early as you can if you anticipate difficulty — the earlier it is, the more can be done about it.
Electronic Signatures
By signing electronically you agree that electronic signatures are legally binding under the E-SIGN Act and Texas law. The consent you give before signing is a versioned document of its own: read the E-SIGN consent, including how to withdraw it and what a paper copy costs.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes are first addressed through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. Nothing here limits your right to contact the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner, at any point, including before you have raised anything with us.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Record Retention
Application and agreement records are retained for at least 7 years, or longer where Texas or federal law requires it.
