The garage

What your vehicle is worth, and what that unlocks

A band, not a price. Underneath it: where the figure came from, when, how many comparable sales sit behind it, and how sure we are. Then the arithmetic that turns a value into a ceiling.

One field

Start with the car

Plate or VIN. No account, no email, and nothing you type is sent to us.

Loading the vehicle lookup

Before you type anything

Here is exactly what comes back

No surprises, and nothing behind a sign-up wall.

Nothing to value yet

Put a plate or a VIN in above and you will get an indicative band, its full provenance, five condition tiers priced side by side, and the two ceilings that decide what a vehicle title advance could be.

How this all works

The five tiers, whatever you drive

These do not change per vehicle. Pick the sentence that sounds like your car and the figure follows.

  • Like new

Barely used, no marks, full service history, and you still have both keys.

    What someone checks

    • No paint damage, no dents, no curbed wheels
    • Interior with no wear on the seat bolsters or the pedals
    • Service history complete and stamped
    • Tires with most of their tread left

A narrow description — pick it only if it genuinely fits.

  • Well kept

Looked after. A couple of small marks up close, nothing you would apologize for.

    What someone checks

    • Paint tidy, a chip or two at most
    • Interior clean, light wear on the driver seat
    • Servicing mostly up to date
    • Everything electrical works

A broad description. Plenty of cars fit it.

  • Everyday driver

Scuffs, a scratch, maybe a small dent. Runs fine and gets you where you are going.

    What someone checks

    • Visible scratches or a small dent or two
    • Interior wear you would notice but not mind
    • A service or two missed
    • Tires with legal tread but not much spare

The broadest of the five. If you are unsure, start here.

  • Rough but running

Cosmetically tired, mechanically sound. It starts, it drives, it is not pretty.

    What someone checks

    • Panel damage, faded paint or mismatched panels
    • Interior wear, tears or a cracked dash
    • Known niggles that do not stop it driving
    • Tires near the limit

A broad description. Plenty of cars fit it.

  • Needs work

Something is really wrong and you know what it is. Tell us anyway — it changes the figure, not the answer.

    What someone checks

    • A mechanical fault that needs fixing
    • Accident damage, repaired or not
    • Warning lights currently on
    • Not currently roadworthy

A narrow description — pick it only if it genuinely fits.

Required disclosure:

Where these two ceilings come from

The unified municipal ordinance for Credit Access Businesses. It caps a vehicle title advance at the lesser of 3% of gross annual income and 70% of the vehicle’s retail value, and requires repayment in no more than 4 installments, each reducing what you owe by at least 25%.

Where it applies: Texas cities that have adopted the unified municipal ordinance for Credit Access Businesses.

Citation being confirmedWe are confirming the exact citation, and how it applies in each city we serve, before these figures form part of any offer. Until then this page shows the arithmetic and names where it comes from.

Our registration status and the regulator’s address and helpline are at the foot of every page, and you can check both without taking our word for it. The fee schedule is on the disclosure page.

Important:

One thing we are still squaring off

Two of our own settings do not yet line up, and we would rather say so than publish arithmetic that quietly contradicts itself.

  • Our product configuration allows a term of up to 6 monthly installments. The ordinance caps repayment at 4.

In a city that has adopted the ordinance, the shorter figure is the one that applies. Your agreement states your term in writing before you sign.

  • The exact citation for these ceilings is still being confirmed with counsel.

Treat the figures on this page as worked arithmetic, not as an offer or as a statement of what applies in your city.

What it costs

A ceiling is not a price

Knowing what you could get is half of it. Here is the other half: what an example costs, in dollars.

On a $5,000 advance over 3 months

Finance charge
$3,874.37
Total of payments
$8,874.37
Annual percentage rateThe annual percentage rate will be printed here once our way of calculating it has been checked. The dollar figures above are this example's cost.

S2 Funding LLC’s rate on its own

S2 Funding LLC charges interest on the amount advanced, for the whole term. That rate describes the same transaction and is not the cost of it; the dollar figures beside it are. Quoted by itself, that rate understates what you would actually pay by a wide margin. Anywhere you see a rate like that on a title advance, that is the question to ask.

Fee structure
An arranging fee for each month the agreement runs, charged by Dollar Loans LLC, plus interest for the whole term, charged by S2 Funding LLC, both worked out on the amount advanced. Each is shown in dollars before you sign.
Annual percentage rate
The annual percentage rate counts our fee and S2 Funding LLC's interest as one yearly figure, worked out by the actuarial method Regulation Z sets out. Until our way of calculating it has been checked, this site prints the dollar figures and leaves the rate out. S2 Funding LLC's interest on its own is not the cost of this agreement.
Your right to cancel
You may cancel by midnight of the third calendar day after you sign, at no cost. You return the amount advanced and owe nothing further.
Paying early
There is no prepayment penalty.

$2,000 to $50,000. The amount depends on the vehicle and your application. Full fee schedule at /occc. These disclosures are effective September 14, 2026.
